Sarah Kazemburg, Founder & Lead Planner

As a lifelong DC area resident, I love this city and everything it offers. Prior to launching SKb Events, I graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and went on to have an eight year career in the legal services industry, supporting multiple attorneys in a fast paced litigation practice.While I excelled working under pressure and managing many moving parts, I was longing for a creative outlet.

I quickly found that wedding planning integrated my strongest abilities: planning down to the smallest details, with my passion for style, creativity and serving awesome couples. Today, I have planned, designed and executed weddings from 30 to 300 guests and everywhere in between. I adore my clients and I'm committed to making the planning process as fun, memorable and stress-free as possible. 

I reside in Maryland, just outside of DC with my handsome husband Michael and our puppy maltese Moritz. Outside of work, I love hiking, spin classes, Anthropologie & CB2, Mediterranean food and Game of Thrones. But enough about me, I would love to hear about you!
